MEET PROPHETESS JOYCE

Born to Leonard and Betty Clark in Pontiac MI, Joyce encountered God at an early age. At the age of 6, while taking communion at a baptist church, a little girl told her that she was not supposed to take communion and if she did, she was going to hell. She explained to her that she had to believe in Jesus, ask Him into her heart, be baptized, and live a sinless life in order to go to heaven. She prayed at that moment, ”Lord I don’t want to go to hell! I want to go to heaven!” It was this divine encounter that began to frame a relationship with God and start her down the path of righteousness.

Growing up, Joyce was always bullied by the other children. Her mother and father fought and argued all of the time, so many times, she found herself in her room either sleeping or reading. Her room became her sanctuary. Her mother would talk to God about the difficult times in her life, so she found herself doin the same, just talking to God like He was her friend. Joyce just knew that she could hear His voice and she believed that He could hear hers. It was just that simple. He didn’t speak all the time but when He did, it was always important. He would repeat Himself until she would obey. Even as a child God was speaking to her, but it wasn’t until January of 1990 when Joyce completely summited her will into His loving hands.

Until 1990, Joyce never understood much about prophets. She would see them on television but thought they were fake because of the way they begged for money. Before she completely gave her life to Christ in 1990, the prophetic would manifest itself and she would say things and sometimes see things in order to warn people. She never understood that it was God using her.

In the Spring of 1990 the Lord woke her up and told her to open the bible to Jeremiah the first chapter and read. With some reluctance, she did. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

From that moment on, God began reveal to Joyce who she was in the spirit. In 1994, under the leadership of then Pastor Carl McCullen, she began to minister through preaching. As she ministered, more and more people began to confirm the calling of prophetess on her life. Upon the behest of a young lady in Monroe, MI, Joyce purchased The Prophetic Dictionary, by Paula A. Price, PH.D. It began to unfold everything that happened to her from her childhood. This book explained the way a prophet is born and the signs of being a prophet. To her surprise, every description of a prophet fit her entire life. Joyce then began to study and understand who she was and the rest is, as the say, history.
